Both towns are characterised by medieval half-timbered buildings and winding, narrow alleyways lined with cafés and restaurants, and are surrounded by picturesque vineyards. Your boat will moor here all day, giving you the chance to find out more about your surroundings on an included walking tour ahead of a late night sailing further south.

Start your day in elegant Mehring, enjoying the scenic beauty of the Moselle Valley over breakfast. you can enjoy a light morning's exploration in Mehring before heading a short distance to the west for Trier. This delightful German city lies right in the Moselle valley, a region characterised by the typical Moselle vineyards. Trier boasts many churches, castles and palaces, plus a wealth of historic monuments – with UNESCO World Heritage status. Enjoy your time in the city, explore the Moselle Valley and learn about the history of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Afterwards, you'll return to Mehring for the rest of the day.

Arrive in Cochem just before lunch for an afternoon to explore this enchanting town on the banks of the Moselle. The entire Moselle region around Cochem is a real sight to behold. The town's landmark is undoubtedly the famous Reichsburg, a splendid castle that towers above the river. But did you know that the West German government had a secret bunker built here for its federal bank? Strange, but true! And you'll have the opportunity to visit it during your river cruise.

This morning sail on the scenic Moselle to Koblenz arriving around lunchtime. Its history dates back over 2,000 years, making it ones of Germany's oldest cities - and one of its most picturesque, with a wealth of sights and cultural attractions.
